About

I’m Pete Steege, a global marketing manager with Seagate Technology based in our Shakopee, MN design center.  I work  with solution providers that include storage in their offerings.

Looking for connections where they’re least expected is a passion of mine.  My profession has led me to a variety of roles on three continents working for very large (IBM Corp.) and very small (Optical Specialties Inc.) technology companies - and several sizes in-between.

This blog is about storage and its growing value - for those that create it, integrate it, use it.  Being employed by Seagate informs my blog, but won’t define it.

    Hi Pete,
I just stumbled on your blog and enjoy your international flavor.
A number of my TwitterBuds are on your Blogroll. Are you on Twitter?

Glad you like it Linda! I hope you stayed tuned. Not twittering yet. Something I’ve been wanting to try.

Very nice example of creating a blog for a company w/o turning it into a legal nightmare.
Trying to do the same with my company and it’s good to see others tried and succeeded so far.

    Keep up the good work!
